As a Class I Officer of the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service (SLEAS) with over 16 years of systemic experience, I bridge the gap between traditional educational values and modern technological innovation. My background in software engineering, combined with advanced degrees in Education and Mass Communication, allows me to view school administration through a unique lens. I am dedicated to building transparent, highly productive learning environments that equip both students and educators with the skills needed for a digitally advanced future, while remaining deeply rooted in our cultural heritage.
About Me
I am an educational administrator, technology advocate, and proud alumnus of Royal College, Colombo 07. Currently serving as the Principal of Richmond College, Galle, my career spans over a decade and a half in the educational sector, during which I have spearheaded three consecutive national-level flagship programs.
My academic foundation is multifaceted. After beginning my career as an IT Engineer and Software Developer with a degree from the University of Colombo, I transitioned into education to drive systemic change. I hold a Master of Education from the National Institute of Education (2022), a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and Media from the University of Kelaniya (2008), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (2015). Beyond traditional administration, I am deeply passionate about digital literacy and the creative arts, founding platforms like Prabath Academy and ZoomVarsity AI Academy, and actively utilizing AI in music production to preserve and innovate traditional art forms.
